Our Board

  • John Lawrence: President

John has been an active member since 2010 and has been President of the BBPOA for the past 3 years. He provides sincere and passionate dedication, while utilizing his business, personal and community connections to ensure our private beach and community maintains a highly desirable status. His ongoing efforts contribute to the preservation of our beach and its amenities for the benefit of our community.

  • Mike Quackenbush: 1st Vice President

My wife, Donna, and I fell in love with our home, the beach, and the neighborhood immediately when we were looking to relocate and downsize. We joined the BBPOA as soon as we closed on our home in 2021, and very much enjoy the neighborhood and the ability to walk almost daily, especially to the beach. I am semi-retired, working part time, staying active and involved with the community. I have operated many major franchise restaurant businesses over the past 45 plus years, as a corporate management team-member and as a multi-unit franchise business owner operator. I am hoping to utilize my extensive management experience in helping the Association flourish and keeping the neighborhood our nice, quiet, safe secret.

  • Maureen J. Hirsch: Treasurer

Moved here from Bay Shore in July 2000. Maureen is a fiduciary accountant and worked for a law firm in NYC for 30 years. She joined the Board as Treasurer in 2007. “I have enjoyed this neighborhood from day one, neighbors stopped by to introduce themselves and made us feel welcome. I enjoy the community feel of this association; ladies night at the beach, beach picnics, people who care coming together to preserve something special.”

  • Christine ME Jaycox: Recording Secretary

Christine is the mother of 4, Grammy to 2 and pup mom to many. She moved here about 2 1/2 years ago to be closer to her dad (former BBPOA President Don Teaugue) to help him and to be a part of this community that she has been active in since her parents moved here in 1998. “I love this little community and this organization. There aren’t very many places like this around anymore and wanted to help keep it going. I wanted to help out on the board to try and get more families involved and maybe hold some of the events like in the past that we have had for everyone to enjoy.”

  • Tracy Larocci : Corresponding Secretary

Tracy and her husband, moved into this wonderful community in February 2009 when they were quickly greated and welcomed with a knock on the door by the President of the BBPOA. She joined the Board as the 2nd Vice President soon after, playing an active role in the community, hosting and taking part in so many different events each year. She stepped away from the Board for several years and has come back as the Corresponding Secretary in 2025. Tracy is a mom of two amazing children, a Sr. Operations Manager, a licensed Real Estate Salesperson for over 20 years, the head coach of both of her children's soccer teams and a volunteer for a local dog rescue.

"My husband and I are proud to call this community our home, raising our two children here, having some of the best neighbors, a beautiful private beach to enjoy, a beautiful neighborhood for walks and bike rides with our family, and being a part of the BBPOA who are working hard to have our community and Beach flourish year after yea

  • 2nd Vice President: Dominick Altieri

I've been a resident of this neighborhood and a member of the Bellport Beach Association since 2009. My wife and I bought our first home here and have loved the area ever since. With 25 years of experience as an electrician and a strong passion for photography and building projects, I have a deep understanding of construction and hands-on skills that could contribute to improving the beach conditions. I’d love to use my talents to enhance the area, making necessary upgrades and possibly adding new features like a volleyball court to benefit the community. I'm eager to get involved and make a positive impact!"
