Damage to the Gate

Recently we had an incident down at the beach that could have easily been avoided if the rules had been followed. Our beach gates were damaged due to a non-member who had driven onto the beach grounds when the gate was left open and was then locked in when a member had left. We are now in the process of having the gate replaced.

Please lock the gates again behind you when you enter and leave the beach. If you arrive and find the gates open, as a courtesy to any other people on the beach let them know you are locking the gates as per the rules. This will give the opportunity to anyone who does not have the key with them to leave.
